| Here are some basic rules to help you get started and to remind you of what you have already agreed to when first registering.
We STRONGLY recommend that you read the various FAQ’s and Rules. Ignorance of rules is NOT an acceptable reason for non- compliance. Nor is saying: I`ve read tons of rules they are ALL the same why should I bother.? “ or “If I don’t know something I`ll just ask!!!! “ Do not post anything inflammatory, pornographic or designed to make others uncomfortable. Treat Avalon as you would wish others to treat your home. If you are VOA, ensure all visitors are welcomed and aided, refer them back to the Rules and FAQs if need be. Be mindful of new players, give them every assistance to settle in. VOA must familiarize themselves with the VOA guidelines before entering. Anyone with the title VOA/VOA Peer, is a respected member of the community, reasonable requests from them must be treated as if they had come from a member of the Sidhe Council. This is their home and they will do whatever they need to in order to protect it and keep it a pleasant place to visit. The Sidhe Council, which includes the Queen, are available at certain times to discuss OOC issues, they will let it be known when those times are. Please ensure you have read ALL the rules and FAQ’s before approaching them as they do not look kindly upon questions already answered in pages outside chat. |

ALL rooms are IC (In Character). OOC (Out of Character) must be kept to a minimum or whispers.
The only exception to this rule is if you have requested an OOC discussion with a Sidhe Council member. All such talks must be done away from the main RP areas. THE COURTYARD IS NOT AN OOC MEETING AREA. Avalon is primarily for in character role-playing! Any disputes referred to the Sidhe Council must, where possible, include a copy of the posts made. Their decision in such cases is final. Promotion is not automatic in Avalon, the only way you can receive commands and features is to become VOA. VOA is a highly saught priviledge which is not easy to attain, it is not given without careful consideration, by the same token, it can be removed if the Council deem a person to be unworthy to represent Avalon. Hounding in order to gain advancement is not tolerated, read the rules if you wish to become VOA and act accordingly. VOA may maintain more than one account, wayfarers and journeymen, are permitted only ONE account log in (which will hold profiles for up to three characters). Duplicate accounts of non VOA will be deleted without warning. By entering these rooms you are accepting the rules as laid out here and elsewhere on the site. |
